The story of La Porte de Brazenac takes place during the winter of 1771. André de Beltoise, tutor to the young Prince of Condé, is caught in a violent storm. He finds refuge in a castle inhabited by a sick man, a certain Baron de Brazenac, who turns out to be very cultured. Beltoise leaves the next day before his host can tell him about a very strange phenomenon... His horse has disappeared before his eyes, as if it had gradually crossed an invisible border. Intrigued and curious, the Baron then himself tried this fantastic experiment to discover, on the other side of this "door", an unknown world... Could this door be the entrance to Hell or, quite simply, a temporal door?
