Just after going through a wormhole, Zen's ship is attacked by a Rygulian spaceship. Shooting back, the Rygulians crash down on the nearby planet. Zen follows the Rygulians to their crashsite. Zen encounters the Rygulian pilot, and learns the fight between them was based on a malfunction on the part of the Rygulians. Before they can form a bond, Zen and the Rygulian are attacked by Paradoxx, who has escaped from his time-loop.

The alien race called Gordons hire Nira-X as their mercenary to stop Paradoxx.
