1561. A certain Michel de Notre-Dame, better known as Nostradamus, saves three castaways from the plague. In exchange for their recovery, he asks them to swear an oath and gives each of them an opal.
Joachim the alchemist, Erik the mercenary and Walaya the adventurer are the heirs of these castaways. The opal that each holds will seal their destiny. Together, they will form the Opal Conspiracy that will attempt to unravel the mysteries bequeathed by Nostradamus 70 years earlier.
