Johnny C. Hubel is an exceptional astronaut. Aboard a space shuttle, he is about to land on Planet Nine. A mythical planet, the ultimate stage of space exploration, whose existence has long remained hypothetical.

Suddenly, tragedy strikes. Caught in a magnetic storm, the shuttle bursts into flames. Yet, miraculously, John narrowly escapes death... only to find himself behind the wheel of a car. At his side is Astrid, his girlfriend. John has already experienced this scene, twenty years earlier. That day, he was unable to avoid a collision with a truck, which caused Astrid's death.

This time, John does the right thing: he avoids the accident. He then understands that he is about to relive his last twenty years. This return to the past will give him the opportunity to give his life a different direction, and perhaps save others close to him...
